to show valid photo ID at first session BEFORE a session can begin.

Regular massage/bodywork appointments may be booked up to 90 days in advance online
(anything past 90 days will show as all unavailable on the online scheduler).
Sometimes Deborah can be booked so you can ensure you will receive the session you want (and need)
by pre-booking those appointments. If you don't find an opening in your desired date range, be sure to "Join the Waiting List".
If you'd like to be contacted before booking a session from the waiting list, be sure to specify text, phone or email preference in the notes section.
You may also book a standing appointment. Standing appointments may not be booked online...contact Deborah

NOTE: Due to the prep time to prepare and heat the hot stones, please DO NOT book a Hot Stone Massage for same-day appointments. You may, however, add-on the Hot Himalayan Salt Stones for same-day appointments.....that requires much less prep and heating time.

All of my policies are in place to ensure that both my clients and therapist have an enjoyable, reliable and relaxing experience. I have policies in place to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of my business as well as to ensure that all of my clients have a positive experience. With this, I trust you understand why my policies below are firmly implemented.

METTA Policies:
- ID required: **Effective July 1, 2024- In order to comply with FL Hb197, all massage/bodywork clients are required to show valid photo ID at first session BEFORE a session can begin. If a client does not show a valid photo ID, session cannot be completed but will be charged in full. The State of Florida enacted this in an effort to combat the huge human trafficking problem. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Payment: When booking massage/bodywork sessions, you will not be charged for session upon booking - credit card will be saved on file for the purpose of no show appointments or late cancellations. You will pay for your massage/bodywork session at the time you receive the service. Yoga classes, sound baths and workshops will be charged immediately upon booking online.
- Cancellation: 72-hours notice (massage/bodywork) or 24 hours for sound baths or 1 hour for yoga is required for cancellation without any penalty. If less than 72-hours notice is given for massage, the client will be charged a $ 25 fee. HOWEVER, if less than 24-hours notice is given, you will be charged 50% of total service. Yoga classes & sound baths are prepaid online so no cancellation fee will be charged but refunds will not be issued without proper notice. If proper notice is given for sound baths or yoga, your enrollment can also be moved to a later date, if desired. However, please cancel anyway so someone on the waiting list can take you spot - thank you in advance for your consideration.
- No Shows: If no notice is given, the client will be charged full rate for the booked appointment to your credit card on file. For sound baths or yoga, you have already paid for the session.
- Rescheduling: 72-hours (massage/bodywork) or 24 hours sound bath or 1 hr yoga - notice is required for rescheduling without any penalty. If less than 72-hours notice is given for massage/bodywork, the client will be charged a $ 25 fee. HOWEVER, if less than 24-hours notice is given, you will be charged 50% of total service. For sound baths or yoga, you have already paid for the session. If proper notice is given for sound baths or yoga, your enrollment can also be moved to a later date, if desired.
- Lateness: If a client does not contact Deborah (by phone or text) about running late for an appointment, the session will be considered a no show after 30 minutes past appointment start time and charged accordingly. If a client is late, the therapist will give the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining. However, each treatment will be finished on time to accommodate the next client. If the client arrives too late for the therapist to perform the scheduled massage, the session will be charged at full rate. NO late entries to any classes or sound baths will be allowed....door will be locked 1 minute before class start time.
- Inappropriateness: I understand that any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made by a client will result in immediate termination of the session, and I will be liable for immediate full payment of the scheduled session.
